File Managers and Bitter Comments

File managers that replace Windows Explorer.  Over time, Windows Explorer has been perfected continuously. Now it's truly exceptional. No matter one might have against Microsoft, we should give them the credit.
Also over time, some third party file managers, that replace Explorer, have been developed. The reason was to allow for ergonomic file handling. But Explorer is one of the major parts of the OS! You won't imagine how numerous and intimate its hooks into the OS are. It is also used and reused by other operating system components frequently, where sometimes just some of its modules are involved. So for safety and light computing, most users did not replace it.

Is SBS a file manager?  No, SBS just handles Windows Explorer, adding ergonomic features to native Windows file management. That's why it has been perceived as a threat to existing file managers.

Comments and ratings.  As soon as a new SBS version is released, individuals taking advantage of anonymous posting make bitter comments (not to speak of ridiculous ratings) on releasing such a tool when other file managers are already established. In addition, not all download sites are fair - some are driven by hidden interests, unfortunately. We evaluated SBS according to the published Tucows rating guidelines and it easily got the five cows maximum!

Be confident.  SBS is flawless and it does exactly what it says it does. Your OS remains clean and as designed. Now you do ergonomic file handling with its native Windows Explorer!  SBS never had a major bug. With v.2.0, all issues - only minor ones - have been fixed.

(This page in no way refers to honest and hard working people involved with file managers for Windows. It does, however, refer to those not honest.)
